SädeTERA

SädeTERA is a micro-school established in 2020 as a branch of Tartu Private School. SädeTERA aims to provide innovative and evidence-based education in a safe environment that supports students’ strengths.

We are a general education school that fosters a supportive and personalized learning environment through smaller class sizes and a class teacher system for grades 1–6. This structure enables us to recognize and nurture each student’s unique strengths and interests. Until the end of grade 6, we follow an integrated teaching model, which offers flexibility and allows learning to be tailored to diverse learning styles and needs.

At SädeTERA, students learn according to a differentiated curriculum. This approach ensures that all students can learn at a pace that matches their abilities while also allowing them to delve deeper into topics that interest them the most. We consciously create a learning environment that supports students’ strengths and development.

The SädeTERA program is more extensive than usual, with a more intensive learning process and longer school days.

We welcome families who are open to educational innovation, value collaboration, and share responsibility for their children’s education. SädeTERA is the best choice for a child who dares to dream big and is willing to work towards their goals.

We believe that good education is born through collaboration. Our partners in gifted education include the University of Tartu, the Estonian Talent Center NGO, the University of Tartu Science School, and the Every Child is Gifted Foundation. For the development and implementation of animal-assisted learning, we collaborate with the Estonian Nature and Animal Therapy Center and the Estonian University of Life Sciences.
